TAN CANG – CAI MEP INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL (TCIT) WELCOMING THE ASIA PACIFIC 1 (AP1) SERVICE

On May 11, 2024, Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) successfully received the Seaspan Beyond vessel - the maiden call of the AP1 service connecting Vietnam to the U.S. West Coast. This service is jointly operated by Wan Hai Lines (Taiwan) and Ocean Network Express (Japan) to upgrade and strengthen the cargo network connections of shipping lines along the U.S. West Coast.

On November 3rd, 2022, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) successfully handled the maiden call of WAN HAI A07 – the first 13,100 TEU vessel operated by Wan Hai Lines.

On July 7, 2022, Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) handled the 15,000,000th TEU throughput volume after nearly 12 years of operation when successfully welcomed the mother vessel ONE CRANE deployed on PS7 service, connecting to the West Coast of US.

TCIT HAS SET A NEW RECORD IN HANDLING PRODUCTIVITY REACHING 238.08 CONTAINERS/HOUR

On December 3rd, 2021, Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd (TCIT) of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) set a new record in handling productivity reaching 238.08 containers/hour when handling a total of 3,311 containers (equivalent to 4,797 TEUs) for the ONE COLUMBA mother vessel deployed on THE Alliance’s FPE service.

WAN HAI LINES HAS LAUNCHED A NEW SERVICE ROUTE AA7 AT TAN CANG – CAI MEP INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL (TCIT)

After the success of record-breaking handling volume per mother vessel recently, TCIT continues to welcome the new service route AA7 operated by Wan Hai Lines when successfully receiving M/V CAPE MAYOR on July 1st, 2021. This is the maiden call of the AA7 service route deployed by Wan Hai Lines connecting Vietnam to the East Coast of U.S.
