TCIT WELCOMES VSE SERVICE, ENHANCING DIRECT VIETNAM – U.S. CONNECTIVITY
On the evening of May 1, 2026 – amid the atmosphere of celebrating International Labor Day, when many activities temporarily slow down, operations at Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) continued without any pause. A vessel named GREENHOUSE quietly berthed at TCIT. From an operational perspective, this may simply be the maiden call of a new service, adding another option for import-export customers.

On the afternoon of August 11, 2025, in Tan Phuoc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, three terminals within the Tan Cang – Cai Mep port cluster — Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT), Tan Cang – Cai Mep Thi Vai Terminal (TCTT) and Tan Cang – Cai Mep Container Terminal (TCCT) — successfully co-organized the 2025 Business Dialogue Conference in collaboration with Cai Mep Border Gate Customs.

Ba Ria – Vung Tau, May 2, 2025 – Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) officially welcomed the inaugural vessel on the VTI service, operated by Interasia Lines (IAL). The VTI (Vietnam–Thailand–India) service is established to enhance trade connectivity between Vietnam and regional partners in South and Southeast Asia, such as Thailand and India. TAN CANG - CAI MEP INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL (TCIT) WELCOMES THE NEW KTX2 SERVICE OPERATED BY OOCL
Ba Ria - Vung Tau, April 25, 2025 – Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) held a welcoming ceremony for the maiden voyage of the vessel IRENES RAINBOW, operating on the KTX2 service line managed by OOCL. This service connects Vietnam with key Asian markets such as Thailand, Japan, and China.

On February 16, 2025, just one week after successfully welcoming the ZSL/PELICAN service jointly operated by ZIM and MSC, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) continued to receive the first vessel of the PEARL service, operated independently by MSC — the world’s largest shipping line. This marks a significant milestone, creating momentum and elevating TCIT’s role in global trade connectivity within MSC’s international shipping network.
