On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, TCIT is honored and proud to be awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in recognition of its outstanding achievements in labor, production, business operations, military and defense-related tasks, and defense diplomacy from 2019 to 2023.

At the same time, TCIT has also been awarded the Certificate of Merit by the People's Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province for its outstanding achievements in business operations and significant contributions to social welfare in the province, thereby contributing to the overall development of Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

Over the past 15 years of establishment and development, TCIT has successfully fulfilled its mission of connecting Vietnamese goods to the global market, becoming a reliable partner and destination for shipping lines and customers. The terminal has continuously invested in infrastructure, expanded markets, and increased both domestic and international market share—contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province and the country. With continuous expansion and throughput capacity reaching 2.2 million TEUs/year, and vessel handling capacity of up to 160,000 DWT, TCIT has cumulatively handled over 19 million TEUs. Its average annual volume growth rate has reached 19%, welcoming over 5,000 mainline vessel calls with regular weekly schedules comprising 8 to 12 international services, connecting with nearly 30 global shipping lines and 50 major ports worldwide. With the strong support and cooperation from customers, shipping lines, and partners, TCIT has continuously set and broken national records in vessel throughput and terminal productivity in Vietnam’s port operation industry. TCIT currently holds the position as the No.1 deep-water terminal in Vietnam, with the largest capacity and market share in the Cai Mep – Thi Vai area in particular, and across the country in general. This stands as a testament to TCIT's relentless efforts and unwavering commitment to providing the best services to customers—becoming a trusted partner and a source of national pride for Vietnam’s maritime industry on the global port map. TCIT’s contribution also helped the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port cluster be ranked 7th globally in the Container Port Performance Index (CPPI), as announced by the World Bank and S&P Global Market Intelligence in June 2024—an impressive achievement, surpassing major ports such as Yokohama (Japan), Hong Kong, and Singapore. As of today, TCIT is the first and only deep-water terminal in Vietnam recognized as a Green Port by the Asia-Pacific Seaport Network (APSN).

Over time, every milestone has been recorded, and today, the name “TCIT” reaffirms the sound vision and strategy of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) in its joint venture approach with leading global shipping lines to maximize investor potential and advantages. TCIT has become a prestigious brand, trusted by leading businesses and customers regionally and globally. Besides recognition by central and local authorities for its excellent achievements in business operations and significant contribution to the national budget, TCIT plays a vital role in the socio-economic development of the Southeast region. TCIT also stands out as a model enterprise in employee welfare, ensuring stable income and living standards for over 600 staff members and creating jobs for nearly 1,000 local workers. TCIT actively engages in community activities and social responsibility efforts, including lifetime support for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and martyrs' mothers, as well as donations for natural disaster relief. In celebration of its 15th anniversary and as a continuation of its tradition of social responsibility, TCIT has contributed 300 million VND to the "For the Poor" Fund of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province and the Phu My Town "For the Poor" Fund, and 100 million VND to the fund supporting people affected by Storm No. 3. These contributions not only reflect TCIT’s strong commitment to sustainable community development but also help spread the spirit of solidarity and support for those in need.
