TCIT news in September 2011

Up to September 2011, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) has officially received 5 services deploying to East- West America and Europe inclusive of SJX, PSX, JEX, AW5 and AW4. Therefore, the throughput of TCIT this month has been grown fairly strong; namely the volume of in & outbound cargoes increased 55.45% against its of August. The  achievement volume was over 37,000 Teus, in which inbound cargoes made up 49,75% and outbound ones were 50,25%.

From the date of receiving AW4 service route on 30 August 2011, its vessels weekly berthing as fixed schedule. The average of net productivity of TCIT has been reached to 102 moves/hour. Besides, TCIT also sufficiently meets all the requests of customers and Shipping Lines. Especially, time of transport by barge  from TCIT to Tan Cang, Tan Cang Cat Lai and ICDs in HCM and vice versa is always to be ensured as TCIT committed. Moreover, our customer service department supports our customers at all times with their promptitude & enthusiasm

Currently, in order to serve better and diversify services, TCIT is also providing PTI service for reefer container to customers. This kind of service has been deployed from May, and gained trust of the big Shipping Lines in the world including MOL, Hanjin, APL and CMA-CGM.
