TCIT news in July 2011

In July 2011, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal Co,.Ltd (TCIT) exceeded three international productivity levels in succession of more than 100 moves/hour. On 06 July 2011, the highest record to date of 114.8 moves/hour was achieved for Hanjin Pretoria. One day after – 07 July 2011, TCIT was recorded net productivity of 102.9 moves/hour for the “MOL Prestige”. On 16 July 2011, when serving for MOL MOTIVATOR, TCIT was keeping to record net productivity of 106.4 moves/hour

During the last 6 months of operations from January 2011, TCIT welcomed the 100^th mother vessel in this July. Total throughput of TCIT was still stable over 23,000 Teus, in which export makes up 60% and import makes up 40%. Total vessels in this month were 57 units, in which mother vessel was 20 units and feeder was 37 units. Like this, TCIT is now serving for 4 to 5 mother vessels a week deployed in East/West US & Europe direct services and has also been served to more than 300 direct shippers & consignees.

After summing up throughput of each customer, TCIT will have support policy to golden & diamond customers. In order to enhance service quality and competitive advantages in Thi Vai – Cai Mep area, TCIT has incessantly increased its average monthly productivity and reaching it more than 80 moves/hour in July, TCIT is well proving its operation efficiency and stability.
