TCIT – aiming to developing and building up a sustainable terminal

Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd (TCIT) always aims towards building and developing the sustainable terminal after nearly 2 years of operations since January 2011.

Being an enterprise having orientation to people –We are striving to make our effort be become a friendly environment terminal and had an active impact on society.

Shipping and port are an indispensable link making up a great density of the international trade and cargo movement. In fact, their operations have been recorded that causing out the pollution to the air and source of water alarmingly at the port area.

With the awareness of all above impacts, TCIT has attached special importance to environment protection by investing the totally electrical-operated equipment system such as quay cranes and rubber type gantry cranes (RTG). This modern equipped system has helped considerably decrease the exhaust of carbon dioxide (CO2) instead of using the equipment which is running by diesel fuel.  TCIT has also had an award stipulation to all our staffs that use diesel fuel under regulated limitation for the oil- driven equipment. With the net productivity of over 100 container/hour, TCIT not only helps our customer save cost and avoid long - waiting time but also makes a decrease of the negative influences on the environment. This is very importance for providing and maintaining fresh air at working areas of all employees.

TCIT usually organizes the periodical training courses of safety at work in order to improve our staff’s perception of appropriately abiding by safety rules in a working process to reduce risks and prevent accidents or industrial diseases.
