Supporting policy applied to Laden Reefer Containers when customers receiving directly at Tan Cang-Cai Mep International Terminal by truck

TCIT will offer some great solutions in order to extricate Shipping Lines and Customers from obstacles and difficulties as well as to encourage customers in implementing and speeding up a direct receiving at TCIT port to the inbound laden RF containers since December 13, 2019

With regard to the transport of inbound cargoes from Caimep to the associated ports and ICDs, we would like to give you an update as follows: Since the very high volume of cargo in the last months of the year along with berth arrangement of some associated ports and ICDs in recent time facing lots of difficulties in receiving inbound containers from Caimep, especially to the reefer containers in comparison with the normal time have been negatively affecting the plan and time of moving inbound containers for your carrier and customers.

In order to extricate Shipping Lines and Customers from obstacles and difficulties as well as to encourage customers in implementing and speeding up a direct receiving at TCIT port to the inbound laden RF containers, we would like to honorably announce that TCIT now offers some great support solutions as follows:

 I.   To the laden RF containers imported to TCIT with final destinations as the associated Ports and/or ICDs when amending manifests for cargo receiving at TCIT

  1. Manifest amendment: TCIT shall support in working with Baria-Vungtau Customs Department for the document approval.
  2. Reefer container operation fee (power charge):
    - Time of free of charge: to be counted from the time container discharged to the first 96 hours after manifest adjustment of that container completed with the destination of TCIT.
    - Time of charge: from the 97th hour until the container taken out of the port.
  3. Lift-on charge: 50% discount on the lift-on charge when container being delivered to customers.


 II.  To the imported laden RF containers destined to TCIT

1. Reefer container operation fee (power charge):

- Time of free of charge: the first 96 hours from the time container discharged.

- Time of charge: from the 97th hour until the container taken out of the port.

2. Lift-on charge: 50% discount on the lift-on charge when container being delivered to customers. 


III.   Date of application for the two mentioned cases

-   It takes effect from 00:00 on Dec 13th, 2019 to 23:59 on Feb 01st, 2020.

-   Noted that for all direct customers who have been receiving the support policy from TCIT with the support level of lifting-on fee lower than this policy’s, then TCIT shall apply the policy of this Notice as a replacement for the previous support ones from 00:00 on Dec 13th, 2019 to 23:59 on Feb 01st, 2020.
