On 15/02/2020, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) has once again set the new highest handling record per vessel while dispatching ONE GRUS (belong to FE5 Service connects Vietnam - Europe) deployed by THE Alliance with the handling volume of 12,562 TEU (1 TEU = twenty-foot equivalent unit), broken the previous record set on December 2019 on the same vessel.

TCIT officially announces that the trial period of receiving inbound plastic scrap shipments with Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) declared as its Port of Discharge and Final Destination shall be considered and giving an extension from January 02nd, 2020 to the end of March 31st, 2020 for each of specific enterprise that has well-coordinated and met mandatory conditions of TCIT.

On November 24th, 2019, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) has again broken a record of handling volume per one container ship when receiving the Mother Vessel (M/V) named YANG MING WORLD (serving on EC4 service) by the handling volume of 10,590 TEU.
