In March 2012, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) greatly welcomed two new services. On 16 March 2012, TCIT hold the ceremony of welcoming the first vessel of LOOP 1 exploited by G6 Alliance including 06 shipping lines: MOL, Hyundai, APL, NYK, OOCL, Hapag Lloyd.


Her route is Kobe – Nagoya – Shimizu – Tokyo – Hong Kong – Cai Mep (TCIT) – Singapore – Jeddha – Suez – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Southampton – Le Havre – Suez – Singapore – Hong Kong – Kobe. Continued from this service, on March 27th 2012, TCIT welcomed more HS3 service with port rotation: Osaka – Yokkaichi – Yokohama – Tokyo – Hong Kong – Singapore – Pork Kelang (North) – Jakarta – Port Kelang (North) – Singapore – Cai Mep – Hong Kong – Osaka.

In this month, business performance of TCIT has been increased stably. In comparison to February, total throughput grew up to 12, 55% - 33,248 teus, in which export made up 52%, import made up 48%. Also, handling productivity has kept at high level: 118,01 moves/hour of net productivity and 93,13 moves/hour of portstay productivity.

Along with the modern equipment and record of net productivity in Cai Mep area – 190moves/hour/vessel, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal will keep on improving its service in order to bring benefit to all our customers in term of time and transportation cost.
