TCIT news in June 2011

In comparison to May, total throughput grew up to 35,09% - 26,799 Teus. Especially, net productivity was 72.16 moves/hour and portstay productivity – these are the remarkable figures. Like this, with 6 months of starting operation, TCIT exceeded the set standard of 70 moves/hour.

In June 2011, business operation of  Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) has been increased stably. In comparison to May, total throughput grew up to 35,09% - 26,799 Teus. Especially, net productivity was 72.16 moves/hour and portstay productivity – these are the remarkable figures. Like this, with 6 months of starting operation, TCIT exceeded the set standard of 70 moves/hour.

In the first 6 months, the total vessels has called at TCIT are 227 units, in which mother vessel was 88 units and feeder was 139 units. Total throughput at TCIT was over 98,000 Teus. This much, with the ever- utmost of all staffs, TCIT has finished the plan of the first 2 quarters in 2011.

With the target of enhance service quality for our customers, TCIT has incessantly improved net productivity to save time for customer in transporting goods. Furthermore, in order to enhance competitive advantages with the other terminal in Thi Vai – Cai Mep area, TCIT have now the commission policy to customer if having considerable quantity including: lift on/off charge and container storage charge at CY.
