ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT CARGO HANDLING PLAN FOR 2026 PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (HUNG KINGS’ DAY, REUNIFICATION DAY, INTERNATIONAL WORKERS’ DAY AND THE NATIONAL DAY) AT TCIT

Pursuant to the 2026 operational and business plan, and to ensure uninterrupted operations in providing the best service to Shipping Lines, Agents and Valued Customers during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, Reunification Day, International Workers’ Day, and National Day Holidays in 2026, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd. (TCIT) hereby announces the cargo handling plan at the terminal as follows:
1. Public Holidays Schedule:
• Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day: 03 (three) days (from Saturday, Apr 25th to Monday, Apr 27th 2026, inclusive).
• Reunification Day and International Workers’ Day: 04 (four) days (from Thursday, Apr 30th to Sunday, May 3rd 2026, inclusive).
• National Day Holiday: 05 (five) days (from Saturday, Aug 29th to Wednesday, Sep 02nd 2026, inclusive).
2. Cargoes Handling Regulations:
During the above-mentioned holiday period, TCIT will maintain normal operational activities, including receiving and handling cargo from vessels and barges, as well as container delivery and receiving. Other services will operate in accordance with the State’s general regulations on public holiday working hours.
In exceptional cases where cargo handling is required during the holiday period: Shipping lines, Shipping line agents, and customers are kindly requested to notify us in advance and Terminal will review and make handling arrangements on a case-by-case basis:
• No later than Apr 17th 2026 for the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day;
• No later than Apr 22nd 2026 for Reunification Day and International Workers’ Day;
• No later than Aug 21st 2026 for the National Day Holiday.

In addition, during the holiday period, on-site operations at the terminal will continue to work as normal, and TCIT has coordinated with the Customs Authority to assign officers on duty to handle documentation and customs procedures, ensuring uninterrupted port operations and cargo handling.
We respectfully request Shipping Lines, Agents, and Customers to arrange for container pick-up during the holidays to avoid congestion after the holiday period.
