Announcement regarding change in shareholder of TCIT

Hanjin Shipping is one of four shareholders of Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT for short), officially transferred its stake in TCIT to its affiliated logistics company, Hanjin Transportation. The transaction was finished successfully in the late of July 2016.

Hanjin Shipping is one of four shareholders of Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT for short), officially transferred its stake in TCIT to its affiliated logistics company, Hanjin Transportation. The transaction was finished successfully in the late of July 2016.

TCIT currently is a joint venture among Saigon Newport Corporation, Mitsui O.S.K Lines, Wan Hai Lines and Hanjin Transportation. All activities of the terminal are operated under normal circumstances for serving our valued customers.

Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Co., Ltd (TCIT) has started operation in 2011. Terminal facilities are including 3 berths of 890m in length and the container yard area of 34 ha. In addition, TCIT is equipped with all modern and environmentally friendly equipment including 9 STS cranes, 20 e-RTG cranes, 56 tractors, 01 reach stacker and 02 empty handlers, along with the advanced terminal operation system (TOPS).
