TCIT IMPLEMENTS VGM VERY WELL (02/08/2016)

Tan Cang Cai Mep International Terminal (hereafter called TCIT) requires original VGM for containers to be loaded on mother vessel at the terminal.

Pursuant to Circular No. 14/2016 / TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transportation dated 28/06/2016 regarding "Guidances to the Verified Gross Mass of the container in international sea transportation". TCIT is pleased to announce the implementation of the rule regulating the Verified Gross Mass of the container in international sea transportation (shortly called VGM) at the terminal.

TCIT only accepts a VGM in original form issued by the Ministry of Transportation, which must be stamped and signed by the shipper, weighing agent (if any). The terminal will not accept a copied VGM.

Up to now, the operation at TCIT has still been going very smoothly with the implementation of the new rule. Customers were noticed well in advance about VGM. Therefore, the terminal is now receiving a good cooperation from them.
